just in these 3 days, summarize below: day b4 yesterday: 1789 impressions then have 6 clicks only, but not bad, about 2 bucks yesterday: 1882 impressions, then... 4 clicks only.. and poor me.. 0.29 and today.. only 1 hour passed already earn 0.39.. for just 1 click i wonder why it fluctuates so much.. it's a movies blog and quite focused.. on just movies, newest ones.. this is the blog: http://filmsupdates.blogspot.com/
Try looking at it the other way around - why should it be stable? You give ad space to Google and allow them to show adverts. They try to find the best ads from around the world, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In doing so, they will consider ads from lots of advertisers - all of whom will have different budgets, different schedules, start and stop their campaigns at different times and so on. From those, Google also has to work out what earns you most - should it show an expensive ad that no one ever clicks, or maybe show lower priced ads that happen to get clicked more often - and that data is changing all the time by comparing your site and every other site where those ads have been? Then there is the fact that on every impression, ads are shown from many different advertisers (you've got several boxes of ads). So the price bid for the most expensive ad and the cheapest on your page might vary a lot. Then there is the fact that you get clicks on proper adverts, and on link adverts. Different rates of payout there. So, all in all, considering all of that, when you're talking of a couple of clicks a day, why would they be stable? It's a bit like having a store, but only selling 10 items a day. One day someone might buy a $1000 item, the next day, someone pops in for a bit of candy. Unless you've got far higher amounts of clicks, you cannot build an accurate click trend. One final thing - I think showing ads from adSense *and* from AuctionAds might violate Google's TOS as they are both PPC advertising networks?
Auction ads are a Pay-Per-Action model, and are not contextually based ads (you tell auctionads which ads to display, it doesn't scan the content of your page to figure it out), and can be run together from what AuctionAds FAQ says..
How many channels do you have on the sames Adsense acount, could be different sites with different earnings per one click
@ funseeker, dont worry!! it seems normal, its the only fun i every one have noticed that sometimes it pays you more then your expectation & sometimes it disappoint you.. @nabi1981 : i have 2 channels btw, & soon am adding one more for my new blog.
This happens for me too, all the time. I'll add to the reasons where the users who has clicked an ad came from(Country).
yah this happens for me too! i once got $.80 click and the same day another click for only $.07! even from digitalpoint i get clicks for around $.20! well thats normal isnt it?
thanks all..I should put in more time to drive in more traffics rather than staring at the figures and wonder.
