very sticky but no signups

So I have started this forum flashcs.org

I’m getting searched. I’m number 1 in Google for “flashcs” plus I’m near the top for my other key words…. So that’s all good… But

According to Google analytics. Since may 10 I’ve had 1050 page views and I have a stickiness of 10:36 minutes… but only 8 signups how do I turn these in to registrations.

Have a little layered saying the pros + of registering.

 

You have to remember the conversion rate for any forum from a reader to a registrar is pretty low. You just need a lot more uniques.

 

Only display a certain section for guests and have a thread in bold WHY YOU SHOULD REGISTER or something

this helps, and you have to make sure and try to make the forum active... pay people to post, sign yourself up a bunch of times... post like mad to all the threads you could.
