    Hi

I am very disturbed that my website loads very slowly. My website www.easy16.com have many images and javascript at homepage. The total size comes out to be around 780 KB. Then what could I do even I can't remove that images. I have compressed images from its actual size.

I am loosing my visitors due to this.

    Thanks

    1. Your page has around 23 javascript. Majority of them seems plain javascript as in not gzipped.
Doing so may make your javascript under 200KB.
    2. gzip css as well, which will bring it down from 55KB to 15KB approx.
    3. try and optimize images which will save almost 24KB of your image space.

Apart from those, use YSlow and LORI on firefox to determine bottleneck for page loads and solve them one by one.

you are probably on a slow hosting ...

for example, there is 3 main types of hosting: shared, virtual and dedicated ...

shared is the slowest and i am guessing you are on shared ...

google "website loading speed test" or something similar and test the loading speed

I would do the following to help speed up your site.

1.) Place JavaScript files that you may have in the header and place them right before the <body> tag.
2.) Try to optimize your images. Even reducing them by 1kb will make a difference.
3.) Clean up your code. If you code is buggy it might be causing it to slow down.
4.) Yes your host could be to blame. If you have high traffic to this site I would consider switching to a vps.

I'm on a T3 connection and your site loaded very slowly for me which is a horrible thing.
