Hi, here are the needs of my project. The title may have been misleading due to the number of languages listed, but truth be told I am not sure what is required besides PHP/MYSQL. Basically, this is what I need: -a text form which will be on a static page where a user will submit their email -when it is submitted, the following checks are made: if its valid email syntax (ie. , etc), if it exists in the database, if there is an email included at all -if the checks are not passed, then a message is displayed with the following criteria: --message must be customizable by me, and it **doesn't need to have 3 separate errors depending on the problem, just 1 "please enter a valid email" is possible, but more the merrier --message must appear without the page reloading (this is what i wasn't sure of javascript/ajax or something else), and must replace a <br /> tag.(ie. currently the code is <br /><br /><form stuff>. if the error message occurs, it will display <br />error message<form stuff>) -if checks are passed, email is entered into the database, and the text field and submit button are replaced by the success message (ie. <br /><br /><form stuff> becomes <br />Success Message) -must be secure from SQL injections -there is HTML before and after the form, so it must load within the page and not touch any of the HTML -**not necessary, but added bonus is if it can also add into the database the page which the person put their email in. so i can deal with configuring a static variable for each page that it goes on, or it can get it itself.
