ArcadeRanks.com was started to provide a altertive method to ranking on the topsites rather than by votes which most do now it's done by weekly pageviews. The one's who generate the most rank at the top, This allows the webmaster not to focus on the placement of the button but rather include it within as many pages as possiable. This then has a big seo impact on the site and is extremely strong standing by it's own with 768 members and it has generated a massive "129,054,906" pageviews overall.

I've constantly promoted this through free methods such as posting on forums and recommending to other webmasters, It's went from something totally empty to a extremely popular and very active topsite. It still gains members on a monthly basis and still expanding now. This has been my hard work and effort and has been one of the best learning curves I've ever learned.

This topsite generates alot of pageviews and if you choose to host it elsewhere you'll require a good server with at least 4GB or more ram, Purely because it's high on PHP & SQL demand. But you can properly hire a professional coder to optimise this site better to use less resources than it does now. This site is hosted with 80 of my other websites on one dedicated server which is very large and has around 32GB RAM, Intel Duo Quad Core 2.66Ghz with 4TB Bandwidth to spare. So it has no issues running this topsite at all.

It only uses around between 50GB to 500GB on a monthly basis which is around the average and hard drive storage it only uses currently 1.42MB while the SQL it usages around 8.1MB. With this usage being said, You can see for yourself that turning this into something alot more profitable would be very easy to do and woulden't require alot of work just a few resources here and there.

There is a backend management system to manage members and also comments made on each member's stats pages and requires only weekly/monthly maintaince. Also has it's own emailing system, So you can mass mail everyone currently using it.

Why am I selling this?

To help fund 2 Arcade Script projects I'm currently working on which is TAS (TheArcadeScript) & PHPTrades. So you'll be helping a good cause too, TAS is nearing the end stages while PHPTrades formlly known as PHPLinkDropper is being totally rescripted from top to bottom.

This has been my hard work & effort and I hope you enjoy running it as much as I do, If it doesn't sell I'll still be running it for more years to come but hopefully there's a buyer out there for this gem in the arcade sector.

Additional Revenue Details

£204.05 Overall Adsense Revenue starting from Nov 2007.

Monthly private paid link placements, 2 Paid for a 12 month placement @ $250 and 1 renew's every month via subscription at $10.

The right owner can turn this into a very profitable topsite through other means such as newsletter system with current members, more link placements and private ad sales or other methods which I've not thought about. You could introduce a paid feature spots to members ect? There's plenty of ways to do this.

I've not fully put in the time to turn it into a profitable site because it was more of a SEO benefit to my other sites than it by itself.

I may consider offers near to what i'm asking but it's a first come first get basis.

I wonder a bit: Is there a reason your toplist shows no outgoings?

Following your stats on the site you have no people clicking on the links which can't be?

 

Due to the positioning of the buttons, Majority being on the footer is the reason being why alot of people don't click through onto the topsite. That can be changed with a adjustment of the animated button to make it more attractive as well as to have a landing page for people to play games on. As I mentioned there's plenty of ways to take this site to gain income from it. Mines being selling private ad spots on the site due to it's high inbound links vs outbound. Because of this. Websites which have sitewide spots benefit from the strong SEO of the site since many sites are linking to it. Making it the second biggest arcade topsite on the internet and more importantly the most active.

If you have offers, I will consider ones above $900 since I've been offered this for the site. Many have offered lower amounts such as $700 or $750 but does not meet the amount I'd like to properly invest this cash elsewhere into my other projects. I set the BIN at that price for a reason, Mainly because it's such a powerful asset for someone already in the industry or for a new comer who has related products for arcade webmasters.

I've put no restrictions on links or tags on links such as nofollow. Because the benefit of using a arcade topsite is in the same sense as submitting a article. It has such a good impact on you're site and with good benefits if properly used correctly.

Traffic coming directly through google is limited because I've choosen the keywords "Arcade Topsite", "Gaming Topsite" and "Arcade Ranks". You could re-target the keywords to something better but! You'll need to do alot of major work on the frontpage to attract visitors to stay and for you to earn better on adsense. This site isn't really aimed at being a flash games portal, It's sort of in the same sense as a directory or a listings site. You make your income from the webmasters not the visitors to it.
