Hi, I run a blog (blogs.koolwal.net) on Linux Operating Systems. I am getting an extremely low CTR (<1%) almost all of the time. For example, for last month I got 59 clicks and I made around $20. Can you guys give some ideas so that I can improve my CTRs?
I use the same wp theme and get 0,70% CTR. I do, however, make some more money (80-100 per month) since I must have more audience.
If you don't find can you tell how many visitors do you get on your site? I get around 650 visits per day (according to WP stats). Thanks
Almost double than what I get. If we don't have conflicting interests can you please send a link to your blog (PM is fine too)? Btw, what's is the typical CTR that you get? I am wondering if I am not utilizing the theme to it's optimum potential. Thank you very very much.
Whenever I visit your website, I see image ad, so you should try adsense for content (text ads). You could also ad another "sky scraper" ad below "categories" and remove the rest of the buttons (rss subscribers) to the right side. My average CTR is pretty crappy. Since I put Google ads I have had 0,65% CTR, which is really bad I think. BTW, when I first displayed ads, I had about 500-600 visitors a day and earned about $40. Then my earnings have increased to $80-100, where I stand now. I just imagine if I had let's say, 5% CTR, I'd be already making $800-1000!!! Hope I can increase the CTR when I redesign the blog.
