Apologies in advance for the very simple nature of this question: With the google maps api, can you create a google maps business search for your own website? For example if I wanted to search for dentists near 02906 and doctors near 53790 and then cheese factory near 90210 I can do this at maps.google.com. If I placed the api on my own website could I perform this or any other search I wanted through my own website. The reason I ask is because a lot of the sites I see using the api add their own locations on the map, and don't include any locations that you can search for at maps.google.com. I hope that questioin was clear.
