I usually get a ctr of less than 2%, today however its been about 16-20 (I'm not giving exact figures as thats against the CTR). Will google see this as general fluctuations or am I better off emailing them?
All depends, 20% of 20 impressions is standard flux. 20% of 20 million impressions, you 've got a problem.
That would be recommended, defently go ahead and stress the point you are worried. This would help a lot if your account happen to get suspended, at least you would have something to go by. Gillian
I would personally say the exact opposite is true, maybe not to the extent of 20% but with 20 million impressions you probably have some marketing geniuses working for you.
That's true, but my point is 20% of 50 impressions is 10 clicks up from an average of 1 click, no big deal. If it was 10,000 impressions and 1,000 clicks, up from an average of 200 clicks then I'd email Google.
It's still reasonable. With low impression, addition 1 - 10 click definate will increase your CTR from 0% to 30%.
