Very new to flash...need a little help...please..??

    Have a flash application imhaving trouble with,not sure I understand why...basicly need to make it load faster. Can anyone help with this?

    p.s. I know it doesnt validate currently, one problem at a time i guess...lol

    That swf is 4.81 mb - which is insanely huge for a picture slideshow. No wonder it's slow to load.

    Try reducing the size of the imported jpgs (or whatever they are).

    If you can put up a zip/rar of the source files (incl the pics and fla), then somebody just might tidy it up for you ;)

    I had the same problem. I would place 1.5mb pictures on slides and once I uploaded them it would end up being around 5mb. I realized I had to resize all of them...I used Irfan View to resize the pictures. Program is free and uses low resources.

    I made my flash size drop from a whopping 5mb to 130kb by simply resizing.

    I tried posting the link but I still can't...try googling it or go to download.com

    Resized everything and changed the format a bit...works pretty good, thanks for the tips, I wonder if it need a preloader though...kinda slow still on IExplorer7
