Very low PPC and eCPM

    Hi,

I am publishing Adsense on a new blog with good traffic these days (around 10.000 a day). I see these days a click is around $0.03 and the eCPM is around $0.25, which is extremely low in comparisons with previous weeks and with YPN. Do you guys experience the same thing and how to avoid this? Using the competitive ad filter to filter out my current advertisers?

My other site does Adsense better. Average eCPM = $1.20. Is it possible that Adsense sets low eCPM to some specific sites and to others not?

    Thank you.

That seems extremely low. I assume the topic isn't related to high dollar products. Have you followed Google's suggestions for Adsense color matching, placement, etc.?

I think the placement is fine ... regarding the colors, it matches the theme. And it did fine previous month, when the average eCPM was $1.50 (some days even around $3) ... Is it a good idea to contact Google asking what should be the problem? What do you think?

Most likely your topic is not related to a competitive industry. There are either not enough high paying advertizers or your website doesn't appealing to them and they put their advertizing dollars into other competing with you websites.

Check the ads, (by their link and not to click on them) maybe they are only MFA websites, I used to block them, and clickbank.net ads makes me mad too.. what's the blogs topic and ads topic?
