Sorry guys, you've probably heard this hundrends of times but I have a problem with adsense, or better...he has a problem with me hehe. Ok, so, I have this two websites http://www.boysoncandy.com/ and http://www.freshbt.com/ and daily I get a steady 4000 impressions and about 30-40 clicks but i'm only making a cheap $1.5 to $2, I thought that this was normal, but yesterday with the same 30-40 clicks and the same impressions i've made almost $8 and I thought to myself "Oh yes, finally this is starting to get sweet", but today i've dropped again to the same rate, 10 clicks = $0,23 :\ I really need your help, to see if I'm doing anything wrong, or any tips from you to improve my profit. I see people talking about "choosing specific ads, or banning cheap ads etc.." how do I do that ? :\ I'm mostly using content ad sense Thanks
I don't know, one of my sites it's a celebrity target, I heard wonderfull things about it, I the site has a PR3 and everything, even if that don't counts for adsense....:\
PR has nothing to do with AdSense. Did you test with different placement, colors. Also make sure to blend well enough the ads in order to increase your CTR.

Try to increase your CTR. Try to optimize your ads placements. I suggest you use the 336*280 or 250*250 ad unit.
Blend your ad with your content...as I said, a large rectangle on the top of your content will work better.
m0g, Try replacing the image ads with text ads. Although I don't have first-hand experience with them, but I did some research for my sites and the majority say not to use image ads especially because they pay very low and it's difficult for Google to place targeted ads on your site, well, because they're images. And give the large rectangle a try. Try different colors; you don't have to always match colors with content, especially, imho, on a celebrity site. The more colors on such sites, the merrier. Text-ads have proven to perform better than image ads. I have had experience with both, second reason is that your first site is for celebrity pics (a very limited niche for advertisers). But I'd agree with the above statement that text-ads are most probably paying higher for a click therefore I recommend a change to text-ads from image-ads and thanks.
Thank you so much for your tips. I'm already changing them and guess what ? I've changed the celebrity site with a text ads inside the post and i'm already getting more money per click .
