Hi, I have a good tech related blog and the traffic is also good. however i'm making $1 for every 10 clicks via adsense can anyone suggest some tips to improve CPC? Best regards
Really? I heard that is a map of the payment clicks. The ones from USA are more pricy but anyway is very low wat you say. Adsense rejected my blog and if the income is so so low maybe it is not worth to work so much to please Google. But I heard there are a lot of people who make fortunes out of Adsense, are they real or only stories for us to spend time doing so many efforts to gain traffic?
Tech is an like the worst adsense niche, there's to many tech sites which drives down the value of the traffic. You want to find a niche that has adwords advertisers but not a lot of publishers. The adwords advertisers will compete to drive up the CPC = a very good niche. Most people suck at adsense because their keyword research sucks. Not only that but tech only gets cheaper every passing year, so advertisers will always be lowering what they can afford to pay. I don't think you could possibly be in a worst niche.
I also has a great website with well traffic but i gets very low clicks on ads. please suggest some ideas to increase cpc and earnings in adsense
It seems that tech blogs receive less CTR than other blogs, but it is not normal that such low CPC. Try to get US and UK visitor, that will must increase your CPC.
Ok...I call bullshit... This is the thing you are going to need time and patients to start making money with adsense. Go ahead find a high paying niche rare keyword and build your blog around that. Yes you may get a good CPC but how in Earth are you going to get traffic to a keyword that is a niche and rare. Possibly they are paying high for those keywords because they know it is HARD to get traffic in that niche! You can build the best blog in the world with the highest paying niche keywords and still make crap with adsense...oh for sure you will make a few dollars a day if you have friends and family come click an ad or two. My suggestion is find a keyword that is not to rare and not to over used. Somewhere in the middle and start with that. Something that people are actively searching for on a daily basis. Not to mention if your users are coming form SCC's (ShitClickCountries) then you may see 3 clicks add up to .01 trust and believe I see it everyday! .10 a click is much better than .003 per click
This x100. tech is a low paying adsense sector. There are a million websites out there with tech news, articles and reviews. It's so overloaded that the rates are in the toilet.
The first you should increase your blog traffic and keep traffic coming from USA,Australia, Canada or Europe because the value per click is more expensive there.Click value in Asian countries are very cheap ..
The traffic doesn't mean for Good earnings. The source of the traffic matters. If you're getting more traffic through search engines, yo may get more earnings. More over, be patient to get more earnings.
first of all check that they are really clicks or invalid clicks? 2nd is its a check your CPC. if it is very low then i think it ca n happen. thanks
Already mentioned here still. Tech is a low paying niche. Every college guy has a tech blog these days, so that should explain. The more publishers, the less CTR and pay out. However there are some niches within tech itself that can get you better CTRs. Like location based tech reviews. If you generalize your audience, then you get mixed up with everyone, you become a drop in the ocean, but create a small exclusive pond for yourself, if you know what I mean.
Different ads have different values per click. For example, an ad related to finance would fetch you more money than an ad on a buble gum. The pay also varies from country to country. Every ad has a different pay rate, even within an aritcle. I hve had clicks worth over four dollars, and others worth four cents. It also depends on the topic being written about. High paying topics will earn you more money than low paying ones. The best way to earn Adsense money is to write about topics with high paying keywords with low competition. Write about things that are both deasonal and evergreen-meaning that they will be searched for twelve months a year.
That is not true actually. I own a tech related blog (Apple iPhone Blog). I make €5 or so a day with 7-8 clicks!
