Do dentists actually advertise via adwords? Would have thought you'd only see magic tooth whitening kits, and those are spammy.
its a good blog, i'm surprised you have so much time on your hands, being a dentist. Your results will come with time i'm sure
thanks for the comments but really need some help with the add placement would be very thankful to whomsoever helps me out
This is a common problem of adsense now people know what is google adsense and they generally dont prefer to click it
I don't think real dentists have MFA blogs - they are one of the highest paid professions. And this particular blog is, as usual, written by someone who isn't a native English speaker.
yeah actually m from india , N i'm a dentist , doing my internship. But how does dat affect my ctr rate
Dentistry is a very *local* product. You can't buy fillings or whatnot online. It is also extremely expensive. People with money just go to their local dentist and cough up $10,000 for new teeth. The only dentistry thing you're going to hit online is teeth whitening, because you can buy that online and you don't even need to see a real dentist. I can't see you ever making much money off that blog - concentrate on your studies, dunno about India but in Australia dentistry is one of THE highest paid professions there is, no need at all to go scratching for a few extra dollars a day from adsense.
you need to use the banner or text on the position where visitor mostly clicks you have need to change the position of you add after that you can get the clicks
You should do good seo for your website and get more traffic to get more clicks and increase your ctr
thanks raindrops but the seo is quite good as it is i get visits to my blog they just don't click the ads.
You should market your site on various sites and do good seo and get more traffic then your ctr will increase automatically
And most people with dental problems are adsense specialists? So at least I know where to go for advice when my CTR drops. (people who spend all day looking at teeth or PC's????)
dat? or do you mean that? Actually if you are who you say you are it is a good niche to be in if you know your market. Build the traffic right and you will be looking at several $$$ per click. PM for adsense placement advice.
Well - have you tried to do your research do to see what type of keywords are involved in your niche? Do you know what your keywords are? Dentists = a broad subject, people don't usually buy ads for that type of niche unless they're trying to promote a product - like teeth whitning
adsenseplr n ForgottenCreature - thanks for the recommendations actually i have quite a few posts about dental products such as floss, teeth whitening kits and all, also i would like to point out that dentists / dental clinics also advertise through adwords so they also appear there according to the region. adsenseplr you are quite right about the $$$ as i get around 1.5 $ per click also i have seen clicks pay me more thn 3$ sometimes. but still not making much with low ctr. also majority of the traffic is from US, western Europe and India through search engines.
research is the key, maybe you select keywords that have huge competitors. please check back your keywords list, and review the local searches on adword keyword tools (make sure 1000 above local search for your targeted country), and competitors below 30.000 (open google.com, then type on search bar "your_keyword", to see how many website use same keyword like you)
thank you zikril i'll be sure to try that also paying some attention to wot RumpledElf said i have come up with a new pregnancy blog. plz can some1 check it out.
