Alright, this is my site: http://www.theparanormalreport.com

I get a ton of referral traffic as you can see:

    8.39% Direct Traffic
    89.29% Referring Sites
    2.32% Search Engines

So here's what an article looks like, which is where these visitors end up:

    http://theparanormalreport.com/singing-stones-2.html

The average time on site is 1:23. That's very low from what I understand, and I've got a 74% bounce rate...any ideas?

There is moderate-high traffic on this site, so it isn't something I need to experience more visitors to figure out.

I think your site could benefit from a few things.
For starters, there is alot of text that is all relatively the same size. Your headlines should be bolder, darker or both.
There should be more images. It's a little stale without pics.
When you click an article to read more of, why is the 'latest article' in that blue box still on the top of the page. The article that is chosen should be on top.
Your ads are placed in some really annoying places. That discourages from reading the full article.
When you click the 'articles' tab and that list opens up, why is the date so incredibly long?

You may want to look at these to see how they handle large amounts of text:
    The Guardian
    NewsVine
    The BBC

Sorry if I sound rough at times, just being honest. Great idea for a site and best of luck!

Good suggestions, thanks for the reply. I'm going to incorporate some of these ideas. Anyone else?
