Cache in history search. If you search your site on IE and then click on it, it would be ranked higher then. (It is the personal cache when you login with google Account).
Clear all your history and cache in all browser, logout all google accounts and then try again.

Clear all caches from history. Hope the problem will be solved. Sometimes IE and chrome give different result but not always.

At first glance I thought it was a cache thing. If different browsers give different results that is interesting indeed. Best of luck with your site and happy posting.

it's caching or one of your browsers might automatically log you in to your Google account and your google+ page so you will see some results that you or your friends have +1'd

It does seem strange that different web browsers return different rankings, and I can't understand this myself given that I've had a similar issue with IE and Firefox. I reallu don't understand why, especially as I too cleared cache....

Just to confirm my experience that it is a cache issue. Very odd if you experience the same results after clearing the cache.

Agreed - I had this happen to me sometimes, you have to log out of whatever you're logged into then clear the cache and cookies from firefox et al and then you're back on :)
