Stare at the dot for 30 seconds. Then, without moving your eyes, move
the mouse over the image. The image will look like it's in color until
you look somewhere else.

Very important is not to move your eyes after you move the mouse over the image.

There was a similar color/black and white filling post yesterday.. I like them, but I have to admit the colors were better in the other one (it was of a castle)

When you're looking at the colors for 30 seconds, the colors become "burned in" to your retina in the same way that a bright light will.

There's another optical illusion similar to this that has inverted colors on a flag. Stare at it for a minute, then look at a blank white wall and you will see the flag with proper colors displayed on the wall.

 

That's a cool illusion.

it's pretty intense how people figure that stuff out, like are you just sitting there one day and you draw a picture then you go.. whoa.... that kinda looks like this... there must be so much planning for things like those
