very interesting - Longer or shorter url influence position in google?

Like the title i think this is very interesting

because i am rare to see long url in the top position search engine

do you think it will be number 1 potition in google better than this

 

disagree - i have a domain name that is 21 letters long and is on page 1 of google on some very big searched phrases !
dont think the length makes any difference other then there is more chance the end user may type it in wrong.

 

I disagree as well. remember there was a site www.abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz.com and it had no problems ranking.

Yup - I too have a longer domain that out ranks others. Actually I wouldn't know what the definite answer is. I think as long as your site is built well and is structured correctly you should be ok. Although longer names are harder to remember/ on the eyes...

 

I see a 22 letter domain sitting at #1 in my niche and has been there for months.

 

what keywords do you search and you find that site on the top position?
