Some people on this forums tells me that they know some kind of a secret which helps to increase amount of inbound links that will show in google when you do following procedure: link:www.domain.com

I belive there is a way how to find the links that will show up in google results. Does anyone knows it? When you look at the site that you would like to place a link to, are you looking for when it's been cached or indexed? Or you are looking for how many other sites are linked to that page you want to place the link on? Please help!

What do you do first when you are looking for a link partners? I build about 1000 links for 2 months and none of them showed up in google? I can't understand why!

    Thanks

the backlinks that visibly show only update every so often. the last update was Jul 13. if you got your links after that, you need to wait for the next update.

however, you really shouldn't be that concerned with the number that show. what's important at the end of the day is where you rank and how much traffic you're getting from google.

I prefer to check links in yahoo. It shows almost every link my site has.

use this tool for example - http://uptimebot.com

As for me, it's more suitable to check links in Google, Yahoo and MSN simultaneously. Many SEO programs and services can that.
