I am getting ready to launch a new site for my company for a specific product line (This is could be huge for my company)...I want to make sure that it looks right..I will take any feed back you want to give!! http://www.cwhayden.com/customer/cwhayd/customerpages/SurfaSolveSite/home.htm Thanks everyone!
Well it's good and it's the type of professionally designed website that you would come across. My only comment is the colors and site design which looks rather pale. Just my thoughts....
First let me say that the design is off to a good start, it's easy to read, and flows well. If this were my site, this is what I would change: -The block padding on the cwhayden.com link in the main menu navigation bar is not consistent with the rest of the nav bar's block padding. -When you hover over a menu item and the drop down sub menu items are displayed, the parent menu item is half-blocked by the sub menu items, a 10-15px top padding should fix this. - I would change the background to a background image, it will add some depth and "flavor" to your site, check out this website for some awesome backgrounds: http://www.stripegenerator.com
DigiFox are you using Firefox? Because I noticed that it does that when using firefox...but it doesnt do it with IE...Do you know why?
Awesome site, however, I would definitely do something about the color of those sidebar boxes on each side. Either make it a different shade of gray (lighter), or alternatively, change the BG color. The two grays next to each other takes away the potential greatness of the site. Hope that helps, and best of luck!
The overall site is looking good. I am not in your industry so take the next statement for what it is worth. I might consider hiring a copy writer to help you reduce some of the wordiness of the descriptions. They seemed very cumbersome to read (although I know they are technical). Get straight to the point. How will I benefit from this product. Why do I need to change? Upload some technical documents as pdfs and let the customer read in more detail if they want by downloading the documents but don't try to give it all to them in the site. Also, the Key features on the right look disconnected from the item you are discussing in the main body. I would consider a color or placement change in order to make it very obvious that the 2 items are related. Hope this helps.
nice concept, design wise i think you could put abit more color on it. flash wise you might want to make it more professional. the font above the flash is abit hard to read. but i like the navigation and positions of the content. good luck
Your content is great but your drop down menu is slightly off like digifox said the sub menu is overlapping the menu, I viewed your site in firefox. I do not like the grey background, I think you should change it to a different color.
i agree with the background any suggestions on colors? The issue is it works in IE...so how do i get it so it works in both IE and Firefox?
