very imp. to whom try digg.com and do follow bookmarking sites

i have a website i am intending to bookmark to digg.com and others dofollow bookmarking sites, but i have little question here:

is it right to submit my website pages to do follow bookmaring sites like folked.com and spurl.net titling the page i want to get trffic to by keyword searched for, does my submission in this case will be ignored by google .

To claify let takes an example
i have page about website design locted at: gointernetwebsite.com/ds.htm
and people search for website design 5,000 times/month i want to rank well for prev. keyword i go and submit link to digg.com titles website design

is that right for builing backlink and make my ds.htm page appears in the first page of google

any replies are apprciated

Submit your links to places where it makes sense. if it doesn't make sense, dont do it

Yea, digg is being spammed by people in blackhat forum. Digg commenting is one of the cheapest and fastest way to spam your way to to SEO, but I think Google might have been monitoring/discounting those social bookmarking a lot more nowdays, so be careful. Only post useful relevant contents and don't spam your links or you will get banned by Digg very fast.

 

Digg is dofollow so you can get backlinks from it. Bookmark only your site to quality social bookmarking sites. There are many bookmarking sites out there that look like link farms.

 

yes, that's the way to do it, but it's a bit pointless when you think about it, our lifetime is limited and we spend it on submitting content to other sites in order to create links to our websites.

 

yes, you can get credit for backlinks by submitting to dofollow SB sites. and yes, you can use your keyword as title but using one specific keyword for all your submissions and other link building efforts is not natural and is suspicious to google. you should use atleast couple of other related keywords to make it look natural and not get dinged by google. for example, if your primary KW is Website Design, then you can use your main KW along with Professional Website Design and Cheap Website Design. use your main KW majority of the time, say about 60-70% of the time and the rest 30-40% of the time you can use the other related KWs

 

The main reason why I use social bookmarking and bookmark my website is to tagging. Tag your bookmarks with keywords and that should do the trick

 

Social bookmarking is a very good way to get relevant backlinks. You will definatly want to place website design in the titile of the submission as well as the description. Now when you submit to a social bookmarking website what you are doing is throwing your website into the mix explaining what your website is then others will either vote good or bad or not vote at all. Your explanation of your site if your site is devoted to website design will of course contain the keywords website design. One thing though when you submit to these bookmarking sites be sure to try not and sound spammy.

digg works but you need better content than average article

 

Social bookmarking is one of the good way to get links and also in genarating traffic. Digg is best in that but try to submit quality content.
