    Hi,

I am curious to know that are forum thread and links indexed less by google?

for eg. take this forum if you have a link in your signature and you have 1000 post and even if google have indexed 100 pages on which you have posted then you should have 100 backlinks to your website form this forum( digitalpoint.com PR= 4) => you have 100 backlinks from PR 4 website which means your website can easily go from PR 0 to PR 3 atleast. correct me if I am wrong this is my understanding.

Like in my case I have more than 100 post in this forum but only 2 post are indexed by google => only 2 backlinks to website in my signature.

This makes me feel forums are indexed less on google. What are your views on it?

well, instead of comment back linking it would be much more beneficial to get backlinks from the forum profiles

It depends what time of day you post, which forum on here you post in and whether the topic you post in stays on the front page of it's forum for whether it will be indexed.
