Very Effective Affiliate Techniques I am Giving Away

I have written some affiliate techniques that I have used to make sales from some of my programs that I have promoted.

The first technique I talk about is how I got a sweet domain from wordpress and used it.

The second one is how I bought a domain name that did well.

I wrote this on my blog, the reason why I didn't post it on DP is because I don't want the duplicate content, because I know how fast DP goes on google:D

However feel free to use all the information I am giving out. Its not a huge list, but these things have worked out to be pretty effective.

    Here is the link http://eroker.com/2008/03/27/here-are-some-very-effective-affiliate-sale-techniques-i-have-used/

No google loves wordpress. However I have just been lazy about back - links. Do not underestimate them, they are very effective. I will probably be doing that very soon.

so you're saying that subdomaining on top of Wordpress is more effective than subdomaining off of another kind of domain - b/c google loves WP? I mean, why not just TruthAboutAbs.nonsensedomain.com

NOt challenging your statement at all - just asking...

since wordpress is in the domain it helps. Just like having blogger in your domain name it would help also. Those sites have a high PR, and that PR reflects on your subdomain somewhat. If subdomain.yoursite.com was used, it would help if yoursite had a high PR. Some people won't agree with this, but I have had lots of hits from search engines without advertising at all! If you search google for blogger and wordpress subdomain advantages you will probbably see something similar to what i just said.

Thats why blogger(not sure about wordpress) does not like people making multiple blogs, that are pure crap. They don't want that type of stuff to reflect their name. I have also talked to a few people who have lost their google blogs for that reason.. I also read a post on DP about this a little while ago.

    A decent amount ... I get about 30 hits/day.

usually 1 converts every other day or every two days. It just goes to show what a little $9 investment can do for yah

Wordpress is like hubpages, if they find out that you are using

your page for a promotion they would shut you down, I know

a lot of cases of high pr wordpress getting shut down for promoting

    clickbank products. So be careful

    Nice post anyway +rep

Really! Thats rediculous. Is there a way to bypass that problem? I don't see whats so wrong about promoting clickbank products on a wordpress blog. But if what you are telling me is true, then I'll be fixing it up a little bit.

    your page has PR 0

Google treats subdomains as their own site, it does not rank you with the .wordpress.com domain

what might help you is if the wordpress blog directory links to you , and you then link to your site.

The other mistake you're making is linking directly to clickbank. Link back to your site with a regular blog page, shortened version of the sales page, or rewritten one, with an aweber email capture form. You goals are twofold: build your list and sell product. In that order.

    Good post otherwise.

Have you actually used WP on your own domain. Don't underestimate the power of WP with a few good SEO plug ins. That way you don't have to worry about getting yours with CB products pulled. I found CD products can do well on thier own in a WP blog when written as an article.
