Out of curiousity: how exactly the domain is transfered to the buyer's registrar account? I mean, what are the exact steps?

    1. The seller receive the money
    ...then? :)

    2. The seller "pushes" the domain to buyers account with current registrar. (This is a simple process of logging into their domain management screen and selcting 'change account' and entering the account number or user name of the new owner)

    OR

    2. The buyer sends a transfer request from his/her registrar to the current registrar. ( In this case the seller would have to unlock the domain and submit the authorization code to the registrar to allow the domain to be transferred. This process usually takes at least 5 days and could stretch out to a couple of weeks)

what registrars have the options to directly transfer a domain to another account from the management section?

You might also see it called a 'push'.
