Ok I've got a page at http://www.travoholic.com/euro/trans/van.htm which gives information on van tour around Europe which is an Aussie/Kiwi thing where a bunch of vans travel around in a convoy and everyone gets trashed for 4 months. If you do a search on 'van tour europe' right now, my page won't be anywhere. But at other times, it ranks #1 and also if you search for just 'van tour', Google will actually ask if you meant 'van tour europe' and I think the page ranks at about 5th or something. So sometimes I'm ranked 1st and sometimes I'm nowhere. It goes about 1-2 weeks on then 1-2 weeks off. Any ideas what the deal is? The most frustrating thing is that none of the other pages give people any info about what a van tour around Europe entails and my site would really help them all out. Help!! Kirsty
This is strange, Google uses several servers for returning search results and I have notice difference is ranking depending on which server is showing results. Ie, some in one country or part of a country vs some in another part of the country. But usually the results are no substantially different, maybe 5-10 rankings different.
Geez that's strange. Now I'm really confused! Still not showing for me on Google. But on a good note, this message is coming up at number 3 so at least my web address will get across that way. Strange.
On one of the big daddy datacentres which should show you what it will be you are no.1 http://64.233.179.104/search?hl=en&q=van+tour+europe I think the other datacentres will come in line with that so it shoudl settle down.
