Very Bad CLick ratio

I have very bad click ratio. My alexa has improve a bit and i am having a 1 month alexa rankings of 400000 somewhat.

i get around 400 impressions per day as per syssense.
My click ratio is 0.50%

please help me how to increase the click ratio.

I would really like to see some suggestion from you people.

 

What niche and where do you place your ads?

 

i am having more then 26000 articles published.
The site is like article dashboard.
I think there is a need to improve the adsense placement.
i have one in between and one in below the article and one in sidebar that is 160*600.

 

If you write less quality content the click ratio is always better.

 

what do you mean. i love my visitors, but to for the leaving i have to make money.

How about you move your vertical ads up? Move it in place of the Authorization.

On each article:
Try removing the ad link unit.
Then move the rectangular ad below the <Date | Author | Posted>
Try not wrapping the content on the rectangular ad, move it below the ad.

Use section targetting, enclose the article with the tags.

i did tried to go for section wise tags but the theme is not supporting enough.
and i am not good enough to do the php coding.
Hope so when the adsense income increases i will improve the site.

I've heard of Adsense Target plugin that can insert the section tags. Haven't tried it yet, maybe you could.

yes i agree - a ugly layout and bad content and adsense works perfect, its a question of ethic

 

i am really surprised by some of the suggestion. Poeple are saying to increase the revenue decrease the content quality.
