Vertical Response - email marketing

    I've just signed up for 'vertical response' for email marketing (NB: NOT SPAM! I hate spam... this is genuine customer mailing lists, easy opt-out etc).

    Anybody else here use Vertical Response? Any tips for successful campaigns?

    It costs 1.5c per email, which seems reasonable....

    Bought them?

    If so, how can they make a profit from 1.5 cents?
