Verizon wireless Affiliate vs wireless MLM

I am a die hard affiliate and I am always looking for affiliate programs to add to my websites. Recently, I decided to check into the verizon affiliate program by doing a search on google.

I found that verizon offers a very good affiliate program that allows you to earn commission on each sale. And the commission offered is very good. But, If the earnings included monthly residual from the wireless contracts that you sell, so I contacted the company to find out more.

I found out that they do not offer a residual program and that type of affiliate program was not really called affiliate as much as it was considered to be a mlm type program.

Because I knew very little about mlm programs I decided to do some research on wireless residual income programs. Of course I use google when doing all my research, so I happened to find at the top of googles list information on craigslist regarding wireless residual income, which lead me to a page explaining it briefly.

I did sign up, but I am still very much unsure how the earning potential of a affiliate program differs from that of a mlm program.

Getting residual earnings from sales is apart of affiliate marketing. There are plenty of dating affiliate programs that give residual commissions.

I think he just told you that to validate their position on not paying affiliates residual income. He used the "taboo" word MLM to scare you off or he had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. I think the big key differences between affiliate marketing and MLM is that you're usually doing direct selling (face to face) and building your down line plays a much bigger role. Sometimes there might be inventory, or training that you have to pay for in advance etc..

More excited now.....reading your email kind of validates the excitment that I had when I was first introduced to this. When I was first introduce to the concept of MLM wireless cellular I was extremely excited about the residual income that comes with such an opportunity. So, reading your post has given me back the excitement and motivation.

    Thanks,

I'd like to know more about some of the other wireless affiliate programs that you are referring to, so that I can take a look at them to see what types of pay plans they have. Thanks in advance....

Did I find the right thread, I saw something somewhere else which lead me to a short lead capture page, not enough information on there to get me to sign up. So I turned to google and found this thread, dead for months, I thought this was going to be huge. If the program is still alive, how much does it cost to buy a customer

Residual (recurring) affiliate programs are the best! You can actually quit your job with them! :)
