Hello friends, i need your opinion about Verizon Internet, i have phone line at my home here! (i got few questions about Verizon, so please try answering all) i just visited the Verizon site, and seen various Internet Plans! the one i guess would be just fine is : 1 Mbps what i wanna know is what will be exact download speed of this connection? Now i know this depends on Location and phone line quality... but still i wanna know, i am from NY. is that connecting speed? what is downloading speed? other thing i wanna know is. is that connection really Unlimited? lets say My PC Is online 24 Hours a day, and with estimate i can download upto 3 Gigs per day.. (Dont ask what i download, Movies, Shows and other stuff.. ) so are they really Unlimited? Is there any Fair Usage Policy - is there some limit after which my connection becomes slow or temporarly disabled? or any Limit That I Shall Not Cross In Day or Week or Month... Please Clear My Confusion So I Can Buy With Confidence I Will BE Thankful to you friends
speed:they don't configure the modem enough to get the advertised speed.you should get close to 1 mbps.when they had 1.5 it was more like 1.4 and the 3.0 plan is more like 2.7. they are unlimited.they have never restricted someone that downloads to much,that i'm aware of.
My parents have been on Verizon for a long time. They've never had a problem that wasn't their own fault. The speed wasn't what I was used to but I'm sure they've got the cheapest plan.
