I just had a question for those people who have verified paypal using a CC and are in north america or canada. How do they verify you through CC? Do they take some money from your account to test it?

I'm just wondering, since I feel I want to verify my paypal account.

    Thanks. :)

well I am not sure if you need a bank account as well to verify a Canadian account. But when you add a Credit card to your paypal account it asks for a 4 digit PIN number known as expuse/enrollment number. You can get this number from either your credit card statement (Which can take upto 3-4 days) or if you have online access to your credit card statement then you can get it instantly. You only have to add that number to paypal account and you are done. It's that easy :)

Verifying from a Credit Card, they will charge $1.95 to your credit card so that there would appear a line showing the transaction with the expander use number. Once you verify and make your first purchase using that credit card, paypal will deposit that $1.95 to your paypal account. So in short, you lose nothing.

They only add money to bank accounts to confirm non verified accounts . Credit cards are done as listed above.

Just to add on, they do place a $1 charge to test before doing the $1.95 but the $1 will remain pending for a while before disappearing and you get that money back in your card.
