Verifying paypal with Debit card.India -ICICI Bank

none of the indian debit cards will be working for PayPal verification, Only VCC's and credit cards for verification.

 

I verified mine with MAsterCard and succeeded. Debit Cards don't work for verification in India.

Yea for sure...U can send money to other PP acc and even withdraw money to ur bank acc without adding CC to ur acc ...but it has its limitations only $500 cud b withdrawn to ur bank acc

 

You have to verify yourself first you you want to do any substantial transactions first.

 

now i called to paypal stated i dont have cc here,they told you can verfiy via adding bank account also

also they told every account must have some funding source either bank a/c or cc.

but when we adding bank a/c it not verfied

 

selling vcc are not allowed in DP,if any mod see this they will ban you

Paypal does not allow Indian debit cards to verify your account. But you have other alternate methods to verify your account as I did.

 

I spoke to Paypal and they say that in India , we cannot use DEBIT card becos paypal doest have the capability to withdraw 1.95$ from debit card.

But recently, we see the same happening in SBI YUVA card.

Hope we see the same with all other banks soon.

But if yr accnt goes negative , then paypal can withdraw the amt from your bank, without your permission also.

What say ?

Hi , i am new to pay pal and i had also same problem with ICICI "bank had been dined this card" and www.b2.icicibank.com is only solution to solve by creating virtual credit card or any other way also...looking for reponses...Thanks in advance

 

hey guys don't u all wish that there was some kind of archive on this forum where we could visit and look for relevant issues. This topic has been discussed thousands of times.. in fact very often the first page of the Payment Processing section has 1-2 threads on this topic. See guys I am not finding fault, in fact I also created at least 3 threads when I was trying to understand PP. Was just saying that there is no point ....

Well. the answer is NO and has been like that for a long time.

Indians can't:
1. use debit cards for verification
2. well ......VCC can be used but if discovered, your account can get limited.
3. transfer money from your Bank to PP, u need a CC.
For money withdrawals to banks, you need a bank that is net enabled. ....so go ahead and search for the IFSC code of your bank and you can determine that (or ask the bank officials... but don't hope to get any major info from govt. banks ... but even the private bank personnels are grossly unaware of PayPal .. so enquiries wont help u much .. DP and google are the only 2 solns.)
