Verifying PayPal [INDIA]

    Hi all,

    I'm from India and would like to verify my paypal account. I tried doing it using my debit card but it wont accept. How other indians around DP achieve this ?

    You can verify indian paypal account only through valid CC and if you can't apply for a CC due to some reasons then apply for addon CC if your parents,brother,sister having one.

    As stated by other members, Indians can verify their PP account only with a credit card.

    If you are a SBI customer and hold a SBI Yuva International Debit Card, a member named VivekGodgift (from SBI) supposedly would help you with the verification using the same debit card!

    FYI,you cannot verified using india debit card.
    The only way is add credit card to verify your account.

    Other option is to join some affiliates sites like copeac,get a payoneer card and use that to verify paypal.

    well if i make a VCC ... what about the money in that card... will that be refunded back into the a/c or will that be an expense for me... and if i wish to make any further purchases... from my paypal ... how will that be possible... ???



    as i guess Icici was offering linkin Paypal ac's .. am i correct ?

    Hello I'm Indian too I verified my Paypal using my City bank Credit Card more then 3 yrs back. Paypal Is not allowed Debit card for Indian user. You need a credit card to get verified paypal account

    Yes,You Can't Verify Your Paypal Account With A Debit Card From India.
    I Was Having This Same Problem,
    But When I Found This Website entropay.com,
    My problem Solved.
    They Provided A Virtual Credit Card,
    From Which You Can Easily Verified Your paypal Account.

    There is a new RBI ruling which states that, every transaction done online through credit cards or debit cards have to be verified through a secure code, paypal does not seem to have that?

    Are we screwed, any alternatives?

    you can verify using hdfc bank netsafe card. its a free vcc service from hdfc. i have verified paypal myself using it. just open an account at any hdfc branch (Rs.5000) and then using their online website create a free netsafe card & use it. It definitely works for everybody
