I saw the link for verifying bank account in my Paypal profile. Paypal supposedly sent two payments to my account on the 5th of February to verify the account. Today is the 15th, and when I check my Axis Bank account online, I can't see the two deposits in the account. My question is: 1.) How long does it usually take for you guys to see the payments from Paypal bank verification in your account? 2.) Does Paypal bank account even work for Indian users (I'm a Premier user) 3.) What alternatives do I have to withdraw money to my Indian bank account from my Paypal account (i.e. money is in Paypal)?
wait wait.... don't you know about PayPal crisis? Probably not. I think you would get in few days , paypal has stopped bank withdrawl in India - temporary. I have already validated PayPal with my AXIS bank account successfully Regarding alternative, we are using xoom currently, but remember, you must have verified paypal to get fund from paypal->xoom->bank account
thanks Sameer. I had some vague idea about the Paypal fiasco, but don't know the exact details. I already have a Paypal verified account, from back when I was in the US (my current Paypal account is under a different name), so the Paypal -> Xoom -> Bank Account thing shouldn't be a problem. How long does it usually take for a Paypal -> Xoom -> Bank Account transfer, if you don't mind my asking?
I have initiated withdrawl 2-3 hours ago, Verified PayPal -> XOOM -> AXIS Bank, 2-3 days should take max. Current status: Punjab National Bank takes 1 day. Some posters on this forums claims it takes 24 hours too, somebody more than 3 days.
I too am in crisis and cant withdraw through xoom because i have unverified paypal a/c and thats because paypal still did not deposited 2 small amounts.
PayPal > Xoom > Bank took 3 days for me. But, it was weekend. I think it usually takes 2 days, and if you have a PNB account it takes 1 day.
