Verify by phone

I did my phone verification. That was pretty cool. Click Call (Now). ring ring. I got a kick out of that.

 

my phone was acting up the 2 times i tried it and i failed verification lol now i need to call them >.<

 

is this something new for every one or only for new signups.. ?

 

for everyone...i signed up over a year a go and its a pink box saying:

"Your payments are currently on hold. Action is required to release payment. More details."

 

Phone verificatin for Adsense? I signed up just 7 months back. I've received payment twice. I never had to do any phone verification.

What? Do they call cell-phones or only stationary numbers? What if your number isn't in a phone book? How will they find corelation between your phone number and you?

Will they call me? I can bet they even won't be able to spell my name...

Unless they will call me from their local branch.

 

you sign in, then you click "call now" you get a call like 2 secs later and you enter in 4 (or 5 ) digits then the # sign which you see within your loged in adsense page.

100% automated. very simple process. just i f'd up both times due to having a "hot chick" talk to me while doing it lol but its a simple process.

 

I do not have this. I just logged into my AdSense account and my payments are not on hold and I don't have this phone option at all. Maybe this is only for certain countries? Or for non-EFT payments?

oh really. I never noticed before that GG will call us, to inform and check for pin sending or payment. They do only random right? Not for all achieved minimum payment.

 

They called me today morning. (Stationary number) At present, I am out of station, I'll back home only after a week. Shall I ask them to call my mobile, if they call me again? Please clarify...

I think all the new adsense accounts (those in the last few months) have had to verify their accounts by phoine. i don't remember having verified my one by getting a call from the adsense team. I think its just a recent addition to their account verification procedure.

 

yea same here, i did mine other day. jus waitin for pin now lol

 

Have you received the PIN? I'm going to ask them to send it via Courier.. I didnt received the 3rd PIN too
