Verify a Site in Google Webamster Tool

    i'm Verifying my Site in google webamster tool but it says
    i need to add the meta tag in the home page of https://********.com:443
    i tried to paste *******.com:443 in a browser but i cant find it.

    Please tell me how to verify a wordpress site in Google webmastertool... Help.:D

    hi , i think meta tags u may place on wrong area of file. There is also option to upload a empty html file.
    google give you name of that file. just create simple html file with out any contents in it , name it that google say and upload it. then verify your site.

    yeah i did this but then it tells me to upload the file in mysite.com:443
    and this location cant be found...

    Better re-work your site from the beginning so it will fix all the problems.

    i did nothing to that site, it was installed thru fantastico, i'm sure fanstastico wont create a bug of its own.

    if i type hxxp://www.planninforce.com:443 in my browser, the page says

    Found
    The document has moved here.<--- a link but when clicked,

    it would also prompt me to a page saying:

    Address Not Found
    Firefox can't find the server at 400.shtml.
