Verification - After CC (how long does it take?)

For Canadians, after adding a CC to paypal (with bank account already confirmed) how long does it take until your account shows "verified" Can canadians get verified?

Yeah, I actually did that a few months ago.

Don't you have to add a CC too? I just did and it's not verified yet.. just wondering if Canadians can get verified (or any other countries)

Yes I did add it and confirmed the amount they deposited..

 

when you login to paypal click on unverified status link. It should tell you the steps to verify your account i also have a canadian account but it requires me to only add bank and confirm to be verified. do you need other steps also?

 

Hmm... yeah, the last step was to add a CC .. which I just did. I guess I have to wait until its being processed? It doesn't say that anywhere..

weird i only have 2 steps, well if you did add CC they probably want you to add expanded number also.

 

What is an expanded number?

Is there anyway I can phone in and verify my identity as well?

 

Buddy after you have added a CC you need to enroll in the expanded usage program and thereby also need to provide a 4 digit that should appear on your credit card statement.

In addition to this phone verification is also needed for Canadian Registered Paypal.

I am not from Canada but yea Canadians can get verified

CC statement comes from the bank and there should be a 4-digit number in the side of bill for paypal and you need to enter these 4-digit code in your paypal account .

Also , since you have added your bank then I guess you should be verified by now

You won't get a statement from PP about it.
You must look into the statement provided by the bank that issues you the CC. There you will see a 4 digit code that you need to enter on paypal.

Also you do not need to call Paypal authorities to confirm your location. They usually call you up.

Yeah, that's the strange thing! My bank account says confirmed.

I'm also a premier business member though... maybe they're more strict when it comes to verification?

Anyhow, I will check my CC bill once it comes in.. (a month?)

yea .. it takes more or less a month for the hard copy to arrive but if you got net-banking / online banking then hardly 3-4 days
