Vendor Question: Do multiple products require mulitple accounts?

Discussion in 'ClickBank' started by jimsmith, May 11, 2009.

I currently have 1 clickbank account that I use for my affiliate promotions, and for my 1 product as a vendor.

Now that I'm launching a new product, do I need to create another username, and pay the $50 fee again? or is it possible to do this under my current account.

    thanks for the help guys.

You can do it using the same account but you cannot have two separate hoplink URL's.

    For instance you can:

Use hoplink to send traffic to sales page 1, with upsell of product 2.

    You cannot:

Use 2 different hoplinks to promote 2 different products.

    Hope this helps :)

I believe that you CB will charge $30 for the second product on another account.

You can switch landing pages based on the query parameters that CB will pass along with the hop link but confusion that it will cause for affiliates wouldn't be worth $30 you save

    thanks for your responses guys....
    so from what I understand:
The best method would be to create a new username, and pay the fee (perhaps $30) again.

While there are plenty of reasons, the main reason this sucks is this: You're spreading your money across separate accounts so it takes longer to get paid.

Close. But actually their way of making money is by taking a percentage of the vendors earnings. Your $19.99 product nets you just $17.49.

I think creating a new account is much better, doesn't matter if you have to pay the one time fee. ;) they charge you what? $50 that's not much.

i signed up for a new account, and am ready to pay the $30 (or whatever) fee.... but then i saw this:
this makes it sound like you just change the 'item' number in your hoplink for each different product.
So what should I believe? Am i signing up for a new account, and paying the fee, all for nothing?
