Vbullitin SEO

    i have a small SEO forum PR10 Google Forum http://www.forum.pr10google which cover various news about SEO, i have tried to install VBSEO but i can not get the site map on Google webmaster tools as when i try to submit it it is not a reconised format can anyone help please:confused:

    Your first post in this thread is not very good for your PR... you did not fully link to your site, which could have resulted in a backlink when I quoted it... also the spelling of your title is wrong (it's vBulletin, not Vbullitin). That stuff is moot to your question though ;)

    VBSEO is NOT all it's cracked up to be. Check out the testimonials here on DP and you'll find that half the people don't actually like it. Then head back to the VBSEO site and look for negative feedback. You'll likely not find any *ponders*


    Either way, your VBSEO sitemap not working for Google is a matter for VBSEO tech support. You may find something here that can help, but honestly, an answer from the source is likely the best answer.

    For vbseo sitemap to work properly, you have to add a couple of lines of code to the htaaccess file. Did you add those lines? Its in the install instructions for the sitemap generator. What that code does, it rediects google to the location of the sitemap.

    You have your forum in a subdomain, are you sure you have the path right in the htaaccess file?
