Vbulletin + Warez

    Hello DPers

    Can we use vbulletin in warez linking sites...i read their terms that, we should not use vb for illegal stuff.....

    I dont have any idea about that....

    help me to know this....

    Well, a legal copy of VBulletin can be used for warez forums but you should still use phpBB 3 as a safer side.

    May not be, from what I heard VBulletin does check even if you are using legal copies that your content of the forum does not violate their agreement.

    They can revoke it if you break their TOS, legal copy just means they grant you a license to use it.

    As soon as vBulleting catches that your website breaks their TOS your license will be revoked and your forum will stop working. They do a lot to protect their name and liability.

    If you really want to get into warez, go for a phpBB forum. Or better yet - don't deal with warez at all!

    Well at least he is doing the right thing, a forum about pirated software does not mean that the forum has to be pirated as well :)
