Vbulletin Vs Xenforo

Let's take the last decision , which forum software is more better ( vB ) or ( XF ) ? .

vB is betterthan XF

 

VB is much better then Xenforo in every aspect

 

In terms of what? xF is like the wordpress of forums and it is awesome if you are a programmer! If you are not, and need more functionality out of the box, i guess vB would be a better choice.

I don't agree with you. I think, vBulletin still sucks because I hate greedy companies, buggy softwares and arrogant staff and as a matter of fact, new version of the board is a joke. I really don't like the admincp structure, performance, and file structure. Whatever, don't waste your time, look for something else vBulletin is not what is use to be.. I mean; XenForo is better than vBulletin.

 

So you also run around bagging literally everything you can see in front of you ? Microsoft for the windows you are probably using ? HP, or whoever else you are using for your notebook ? Digital Point for providing the forum you are posting on ?

What defines a greedy company ? A company wanting to make a profit rather than a loss ?

 

now i must say after vb5 beta test Xenforo is much much better then vb..its fast and sleek gfx etc.soon i also convert my all forums to xenforo.......

I don't own any forums, but I am an admin on both types - and my preference is Xenforo.

How do you come to that conclusion? Vb5 is notoriously bad.
Any professional coder will tell you the code is awful, it has a ton of bugs, a whole bunch of features present in VB3-4, heck even 2.X don't work on VB5.
VB4 is reasonable, as a forum, the CMS is awful, the blogs aren't much better
And the main/major features that were advertised during the presale and after, like "Asset manager" and "Improved search" ended up being rubbish.

Xenforo has 1 open bug report
Vbulletin 4 has 944 unresolved bugs, after 3 years
Vbulletin 5 has 1636 unresolved bugs.

 

Xenforo by far. Especially if it's vBulletin v5.0 vs Xenforo.

 

XenForo has my vote.. VB is nice but slow..

vBulletin 3 is still good but it's old now. Version 4.2 is okay too but version 5 is just ridiculous.
