    Hi all,

I've recently bought a forum which runs on phpBB. I like the look and feel of vBulletin thus want to try it out. How do these two forum softwares compare with eachother?

Money isnt the problem, the question is, which platform will offer a better visitor experience and which is easier to manage.

Also which is more advantageous for SEO & Adsense?

    Thanks in advance:cool:

If money isn't a problem then why do you not consider Xenforo? PHPBB is awful, but so is VB. The number of times I've come acrossed hacked forums when searching for something and yes they have all been running VB.

As for SEO and AdSense, it all comes down to your topic and the quality (not quantity) of the content. Forums convert very poorly, so if it's a very low paying topic then AdSense isn't worth it. Research your audience and understand how to best monetise them.
