VBulletin vs. Invision

Okay, I saw a thread on here asking which is the best forum platform, however, the poll which was included in the thread, forgot to mention Invision (IPS), which I hear is one of the best. So I wanted to ask which one is the best between the two: VBulletin vs. Invision. By the way, this forum (DP) is from VBulletin right?

yes DP is a Vbulletin, if you scroll all the way to the bottom of the forum you can see that it has

"vBulletin® v3.6.8, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd." which tells you that they got it from Vbulletin.

IPB is very much faster than others wrt huge traffic, too many posts, etc

But the problem is IPB is too much costly compared to vBulletin .

I, see. that make sense. I looked at their price, and I was wondering why it was so expensive. That was one of my reason to ask. Because my initial impression was that, it was really expensive b/c it was so much better. But from the responses, it doesn't look that way.
