I want a unique homepage title for vBulletin forum, it should not appear on elsewhere on the threads. Eg: If my domain name is yourforum.com, I want my homepage title to read "Your Forum - Join Your Community And Discuss." And I want this only on the homepage and everywhere else it should be "Your Forum" only. This is how it is on Digital Point Forums. The homepage title of DP reads "Webmaster Forum - Internet Marketing & Search Engine Forums." Everywhere else, it is just "Digital Point Forums." Can anybody please help me with this?
Okay. I got the answer myself. Here is how you edit the title of the homepage of a vBulletin forum like that you have in Digital Point, homepage has a unique, SEOd title: 1.) Log in to Admin CP/Styles & Templates/Style Manager. 2.) Pull the dropdown menu to Edit Templates. 3.) Go to Forum Home Templates/FORUM HOME. 4.) Remove whatever is there in between <title> and </title> and add whatever title you want with the name of your forum and appropriate keywords. Hope this tutorial will help someone in need.
