Vbulletin style install

    Hey all, i was wondering how do you install a vbulletin style.

    My last style was uploaded by a friend but hes not around so i was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to help.

    Or even a guide, im not having much trouble finding.

    Anyhelp is appreciated

    upload the /images file of your style and then go to Admincp > Style Manager > Import Style and then you import the .xml file supplied with the style.

    Nice one where does the /images folder of the style go man?

    Im not sure what version it is ill try and find out.

    The images usually go in the images folder, but kept within the folder they come in - not always though, it depends who made the style - they usually come with basic instructions.

    For installation the version doesn't make any difference, what Ratchet said is right. It doesn't matter if you upload the images in the wrong place because you will be able to tell when you choose the template after installing it like Ratchet described. If there are missing images you can right click on them to see the properties and find out where they are supposed to be and move your images to the right place if you put them in the wrong place.

    The version of the template does matter though, make sure the template is compatible with your version of VB

    I upload the xml, then look to see what path the images should be and I upload them via ftp. ;)
