Lets say I have the website www.justanexample.com - and I want to install Vbulletin. Is it better to instal it on www.justanexample.com or should I instal it on its own domain of www.justanexample.net? Thanks
by the way i see it: you have www.justanexample.com a ready made website right! so there are files on the index... install the forum on www.justanexample.com/forums/ and NOT on a different website, it will be much easier to build a more successful website if the forums are on the same domain name, because of search engine indexing or if you have access to subdomain create forums.justanexample.com and put the forums there, a great example is forums.digitalpoint.com Regards.
I would advise installing it on www.justanexample.com/forum(s) or forum(s).justanexample.com (you can spell forums with or without the "s"). I wouldn't put it on a completely different domain.
