Vbulletin Seo URLS hack?

Should I use it or not? Got stuck after reading this

What do you guys say? should I usethat hack or not?

 

I'd say they're probably not necessary.

 

If you have the time to reinstall it after every security update, then do it.

 

Not sure that it needs to be "heavily hacked" if you use software like VBSEO with Vbulletin its straightforward enough. Since I installed VBSEO on my forum with SEF URL's I ahve seen google index another 30,000 pages in two months and my visitor/post count increase by 50%.

Whether you like it or hate it, it works. Yes query strings are not so much of a problem but it still does not get your threads keywords into the mix and that helps a lot.

 

I had installed VBseo some 5 days back...My forum is brandnew one.Do you need a good PR to get indexed by google ?

Have you continued to have success as a result of VBSEO or have you noticed a drop after the initial surge of 50% more visitors?
