    My advice!

    Switch to xenForo which is most lighter and secure forum script (dp is on xenforo) and i will do all the things for you.
    - Switch (transfer/merge) from vB to xF.
    - Install all the plugins you need.
    - Configuration and Optimisation.
    - Install some themes that is available on xenForo

    Also xenForo can be implemented on wordpress (bridge) so you can use wp as root and /community/ as xenforo for example..
