Hello All, I have a few questions. I am ready to build a site that is going to require two scripts to be integrated and I am not sure if it is best to start with the current (stable) versions of each script (and do upgrades later) OR wait for the stable version, then build the site. I plan to use phpfox and vBulletin. The site I am building I plan to make similar in construction to BodyBuilding-dotcom. (different topic/subject matter tho) and I wanted to know if my requirements are possible, and any suggestions to make the job easier. Here is a brief explanation of how I plan to set up the site. The landing page will be on the main domain, with a brief intro and links to each of the following sub-directories and the scripts I plan to use on said directories: /shop - OScommerce shopping cart script ver. 2.2 RC2 OR vB/Joom cart mod /news - Joomla CMS script ver 1.5 OR the CMS feature from Vb ver4 /community - phpfox social network script ver 1.6.21 OR phpfox ver2 /forums - vBulletin forum script ver 3.8 or 4.0 I would like: - One integrated universal member log-in. - A custom/modified Member Profile page that integrates the major functions of each script. - Custom log-in box and place it in the header of each script. Problem: No themes or mods avail for new versions of either script! There are some very talented programmers and designers here and I value your input. Please, I am open to dialogue, suggestions, bids, ideas and the like. WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU WERE ME. Marc Knox FYI-This is what the social network aspect if the site already looks like. Still tweaking the design. BONUS Additional Work to whoever does this job for me: I hope to build a long term working relationship with the programmer who takes the job, as there will undoubtedly be additional scripting and programming work for this project, as well as script updates.
