I have two (2) owned vbulletin licenses that im selling. Both are linked to the same account so must be sold together.

    Price: $275 for both

support has expired on both of these and will need renewed which will have to happen when 4.0 comes out anyway.

Your license(s) are expired. Why would some one buy Expired license for 275$, If the Upgrade fee of each license 175$ and new ones are for 195$

    275 + 175 + 175 = 625.00 USD
    195 + 195 = 390.00 USD

Unfortunately inactive licenses cannot be sold and transferred unless they've changed this rule.

To upgrade/renew the license it costs $190 for 2 weeks only. Then I hear they are raising the prices to $210 to upgrade.

It's still cheaper than buying a license, because soon the licenses will cost $285. I just noticed now they are $235 if you preorder now.

I can nozt belive what I am reading here. Nobody seems to know anything, but thinks he can post his opinion.

Pleae check the vb FAQ before you post here with opinions and and befor trying to sell.

vbulletin licences can only be sold if:

    1. it is an owned licence
    2. it is not expired (-> the upgrade contract, because all owned licence are lifetime)
    3. they are at least 90 days old
    4. no transfer has been done within the last 12 months

Since the last policy change of vb in October this year. You can not renew expired licences anymore for 40/60$, you have to pay now 175/195$.

All other prices mentioned by others are nonsense. They are differnt products and not the forum licence only.

To make a long story short: You licence has 0 value as long as you want to do something legal with it.

Since your licenses are expired, they cannot be transferred. You also can no longer renew licenses under the previous terms, so you are forced to upgrade to 4.x if you plan to transfer these. Upgrading to 4.x will not be free since your licenses are expired.

actually i have spoke to vb support and they are available for transfer as you can transfer a expired product as long as its not been expired for more than 90 days :)

you also might want to read as 4.0 is a different product and the 3.*.* will still be supported even after 4.0 is released and these licenses will allow you to run the current version on your site.

if both are really transferable, I could be interested. I bid 40$ for each.

I'd recommend you PM the user, acquire the license numbers, and verify for yourself with vBulletin that they are indeed transferable. :)
