Hey, I will be moving my phpBB forum to a vBulletin forum soon. I was just wondering of you guys know of any good modifications I can add to the forum. Give me your favirotes, and recommedations.

I already have a load I need, and I would like to view and read about even more. I would also like anything else you need adding to your vBulletin forum. I am also intrested in things like vBSEO.

    Thanks,
    BlueEew.

I have been looking at vBulletin.org already, I have found some good free useful modifications there. I have a free forum hosted via a free forum provider, they now offer backups.

I am just a little worried about transfering over, what is this service you are talking about. I am intrested.

The reason I am moving is because when I started my forum, I didn't even know what a webmaster was, never mind making an vBulletin forum. I made a free forum, and now I am fairly experienced in forums, I am moving to a paid forum.

yeah, you can put various ad codes in different templates, and use the manager to rotate them, display them to certain usergroups etc.

Can you use all of them, like all three for SEO solutions on one vBulletin forum? Also if you can, would using all three make your foruma lot better, I mean will it attract more activity for you?

vBSEO and vrewrite basically do the same. Change your default URL address to Seach Engine Friendly URL:

    From: domain.com/showthread.php?t=310012
    To, e.g.: domain.com/forum-management/vbulletin-modifications.html

It helps your website rank higher in SERPs (Search Engine Result Pages), e.g. Google and URL is more readable and usable to visitor.

I use many Mods on my Board, jut a few examples:
    - Templates Mod
    - Welcome Headers
    - Email reminder for inactive users
    - Moderation Auto-PM v2.0.1
