    hello,
need some help fixing my vbulletin site forum
probably really easy but i dont know were to start... you can either tell me or do it for me :)
just need this to be working :(

basicly when you login it says 'thankyou for logging in' and then goes straight to you not being logged in...

any help is much appreciated :)

    cheers

now that is the most silly reply ever
okay it is the most obvious too but if it was as easy as that then i would have sorted it out ages ago (sorry no offense)
it is the same for everyone on the site...
its a vbulletin settings error or something..

The Portal system for vB. I guess you are not, because that often creates problems. Some help from their website that may apply to a general vB installation:

Be sure to check the URL things.

    okay
it works when you dont use the www.
    have added that code
and urrrm now it redirects to the www. version once logged in and so logs you out then :S
any way to edit that bit of code to make it the other way round?

Hmm, I have never been too sure with htaccess, but when you go to the www. and login, you shouldn't have problems after that :S

    Try:

Not sure as I found that on the internet. Try it if you wish :)
